This partnership provided training to 54,000 cotton farmers in Pakistan, supporting them to improve their farming practices and, with that, their pro?tability. Through its investment, the BCI gained a better foothold in the world’s fourth largest cotton producer and further built the commercial viability of the Better Cotton Standard. Cotton Australia provided its expertise on the back of Australia’s recent accreditation under the BCI.
