Palmania showcasing Vietnam’s organic Palmyra nectar to the world

We’re proud to celebrate the success of Palmania JSC, Vietnam’s first and only organic Palmyra nectar producer, as they took to the global stage at two leading trade events earlier this year – BIOFACH 2025 in Germany and Horecava in the Netherlands.
Now holding both USDA and EU organic certifications, the award-winning Palmania is drawing international interest with its Palmyra nectar, made from the native palms of An Giang province in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta.
Palmania is one of six women-led agribusinesses in the Mekong Delta that successfully pitched for up to VND 1 billion (AUD 60,000) through Deltaccelerate, an accelerator dedicated to women’s leadership and climate-resilient agriculture.
Since launching in April 2024, Deltaccelerate has provided tailored training, mentoring and funding to 15 agribusinesses that are strengthening the Mekong Delta’s resilience to climate change. The program is delivered through a #DFATBpp partnership between the Australian Government and New Energy Nexus Vietnam.
Palmania’s journey doesn’t stop at trade shows. With Deltaccelerate support, they have:
- Expanded certified organic farming
- Improved nectar collection and product quality
- Built international partnerships and new export pathways.
Back home in An Giang, they’re also driving inclusive, climate-smart growth:
- Recruiting 200 new farmers, with a focus on Khmer communities
- Creating 30+ jobs, over half filled by women
- Converting 300 wild Palmyra trees to certified organic and preserving 500 more for sustainable harvest.
Congratulations to the Palmania team – we’re excited to continuing seeing their journey from An Giang to the world!
