Harnessing the power of gender inclusion in carbon markets

In early August, more than 40 people from across the BPP partners took part in a special BPP learning event about how to harness the power of gender inclusion in carbon markets.

It highlighted the growing interest and demand from investors and buyers for carbon credits that deliver gender equality outcomes, with the potential for carbon market operators that prioritise gender equality to expect to see:

• improved climate outcomes
• improved gender equality outcomes
• better pricing for high-integrity carbon credits.
